Bladders behaving badly are more common than we care to admit, with at least one in three women suffering with bladder dysfunction. Many women silently management their symptoms for years voiding just in case, carrying spare underwear, toilet mapping when out and about, padding up or restricting their fluid intake; but subtle hints of admission often surface in conversation: “When I have to go I HAVE TO GO!” or “Don’t make me laugh or else…”
If you allow this to continue your bladder will gradually take over your life.
Whether you have a weak leaky bladder or dealing with a misbehaving bladder that is throwing tantrums, rushing you to the bathroom with great urgency, or locking you into leg-crossing, doubling-over, freezing postures to try and hold on, do not continue to suffer in silence. Help is available.
